Ecography

Ultrasound or ecography is a procedure that uses high frequency sound waves.
Ecography is a well-known study and much utilised. It is characterised for being a non-invasive method which is fast and comfortable for the patients.

The preparation required for these types of tests is to limit intake of food, allowing the patient to only drink a small amount of water. Urine tests are also carried out.

Eco Doppler studies on site

The ecography equipment incorporates a more specific technology for studying the blood vessels and from this be able to make calculations based on blood flow.

They do the test using what is called Doppler effect, and are known as Doppler Colour. The Ecodoppler is combined with the conventional ecography for the evaluation of the blood vessels, allowing the flow and characteristics of the walls of these vessels to be studied.

Radiography

HCIH is equipped with a Radiology room in order for us to be able to carry out conventional x-rays.

This allows us to make radiological studies of thorax, abdomen, skull and skeletal system muscle, to mention just a few. 

Some of these procedures require that the patient is prepared before hand and therefore, they will be made an suitable pre-appointment to carry out the tests.
