Clinical Oncology
The Clinical Oncology service has an area for external consultations, outpatient care and admission.
The Oncology outpatient facility is of the highest level of standard of integrated ambulatory care for patients with cancer. Here, patients receive systemic or complex chemotherapy treatment and complimentary treatments (biological hydration, transfusions and therapies) in an ambulatory regimen, avoiding hospitalization for as long as possible, unless it is strictly necessary.
The center has a solid support system from the following departments:
• The department specializing in the preparation and administration of medicines for all types of oncology treatments (chemotherapy, antibodies, etc.).
• The department for blood analysis which produces immediate results before treatment application.
• The department of cryo-conservation of hematopoietic precursors for transplants and the analysis of tumor cells in the blood before, during, and after treatment.
